He has a great working knowledge of a restaurant having in past years owned three himself, from fine dining to fast casual. Having taught seminars on how to start, own and operate your own restaurant for Small Business Development in Louisville, he is well qualified to help you. Whether that is site selection, negotiate a lease or sale, financing and implementation he has the experience to guide you all the way.

Erin recently graduated from the University of Louisville with a BFA in Interior Architecture at the top of her class. While in school, she was the member of multiple honor societies as well as being recipient of the Hite Scholarship and other merit based awards multiple times. Before coming to The Houston Group, she worked with Powell Design Group as well as designing an award winning space for the 2008 Trends Home and Garden Show. Since joining The Houston Group she has worked on variety of projects including a French cafe in the St. Matthews, a vibrant breakfast eatery in Norton Commons and the extremely popular Chop Shop Salads in downtown Louisville. It is very important to Erin to stay up to date with all current design concerns and staying active in the community. She recently became a LEED Accredited Professional through the US Green Building Council as well serves on the University of Louisville Interior Architecture Advisory Board and is a member of the Young Professionals Association of Louisville (YPAL).

Lydia recently joined The Houston Group as the Director of Marketing and Sales. She graduated in December of 2008 from the University of Louisville with a BS in Marketing and Communication. While at U of L she was an active member of ICOMM and a KEES Scholarship award winner. Lydia is enthusiastic about having the opportunity to work with her father again and knows that this business venture is a great way to blend their talents. Early in her career she gained experience in sales and customer service thru multiple internships. She is excited to bring her skill sets to help market and present Houston’s Dressings and Sauces new product lines to distributors and customers. With related experience, a high level of creativity, and strong communication skills she will build brand awareness and recognition for Houston’s Dressings and Sauces.
