Pig City BBQ
Located in the heart of Middletown on the bustling Shelbyville Rd., Pig City BBQ opened its doors in 2006. The establishment welcomes diners with its down-home country feel executed through the use of warm toned wood and stone and a soft inviting color palette of sage green and cranberry red.
The design also incorporates the city that surrounds it. On several walls runs a beautiful hand painted mural featuring the city’s sights and events from Churchill Downs and the city skyline to Thunder over Louisville and the annual steamboat race as well as black and white photographs above the booths that show the changing city throughout the years. Outside the restaurant patrons can enjoy a large patio dining area that overlooks the lively Louisville life. You mix this design with an array of representations of the name throughout the establishment and you get a charming country design as the backdrop to enjoy the areas best barbeque.
